PM Modi to hold talks with all-party delegation after global anti-terror campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet the all-party global delegation on Tuesday evening at his official residence in New Delhi. The delegation was part of the diplomatic outreach launched under Operation Sindoor, India's strategic response following the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 tourists lost their lives in Jammu and Kashmir.

This initiative saw over 50 participants, including MPs from various political parties, former ambassadors, and senior officials, visiting more than 30 countries to present India's stance on zero tolerance towards terrorism. The mission aimed to highlight Pakistan’s continued support for cross-border terror activities and urged foreign governments to reconsider Pakistan’s position on the FATF watchlist.

Seven groups led by Members of Parliament covered strategic regions worldwide—from the US and Europe to Southeast Asia and Africa. Prominent leaders like Shashi Tharoor, Supriya Sule, and Kanimozhi Karunanidhi took part alongside BJP leaders such as Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda. Their visits focused on pushing for coordinated global efforts to isolate state sponsors of terrorism and ensure long-term counter-terrorism cooperation.

Launched on May 7, Operation Sindoor also included targeted military strikes by Indian Armed Forces against terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. These actions reportedly neutralized over 100 terrorists belonging to outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The outreach now shifts to diplomatic consolidation, with today’s meeting expected to shape the next phase of India's global counter-terror push.
